During the 50s 60s & 70s, when Angela's family owned the Stanley Park Cafe, as it was then known, it was one of the major hubs of the town.
The Family name was then COLETTA, with Angela's Dad (ALF) a very well known and respected person of the town. Even to this day there are still many of the "elder" people of the Town who call into the cafe and fondly reminisce about "ALF COLETTA". Particularly as to his generosity and his willingness to help people. The large amount of Rum or Whisky that he would lace everybody's morning coffee with also receives a great deal of mention.
Unfortunately, during latter years the cafe fell into dilapidation with a very poor reputation.
2003 saw the arrival of the Lidstone family, with Angela now determined to resurrect this once wonderful cafe. What a difference 5 years have made.
The cafe now caters for Families, Parties, Weddings, Corporate, and even provides Location Catering for Media and Sporting Events.
Very occasionally, special evening events are hosted that always turn out to be a fantastic night.
